The Wall
Sorry for the lack of posts during the last few months. We have just about hit the wall - emotionally, physically and mentally. Post-Katrina New Orleans is not a place for the weak of heart. It is still wonderful and terrible in a unique dichotomy of conditions that can never be explained adequately in the press.
When you only have a limited amount of energy, you focus on the most important aspects of your life...family, income, keeping the flock healthy and happy...unfortunately, blogging is lower on the list.
We do have some good news. A contractor friend of ours started helping us to rebuild some of our damage on the anniversary of the storm. We should have the place back together in the next 12 months.
We are still raising a lot of beautiful babies. Although we have not been advertising their availability we have Solomon Island, Vosmaeri and Red Sided Eclectus babies available.
We'll try to do a better job of keeping you informed in the future. Thanks for all of your good wishes.
