Getting Bad...
and the storm is still 140 miles away. We've had power on and off for a while. This might be our last post for a while. All of the New Orleans TV stations are off the air. We still have cable and are following the storm on CNN and the internet. We'll most probably lose power and cable later this morning.
Winds here are sustained around 30 and gusting to 40. Everyone is sleeping. I'm making coffee. Might be the last pot until we can get the generator working after the worst of the storm is past.
TJ the Umbrella Cockatoo is one of two breeders that we brought inside into our bird room. He has been loving on everyone all night. Still a lovable pet.
Good luck to everyone.
