Dance Fever
Odie used to be our uncontested dance king. Then Nelson arrived on the scene. We have different songs that we sing to each of them and they both love to dance to them. Now, when I get home, I stand between their two cages and announce that the contest is beginning. I sing Odie's song and he sways from side to side and raises one foot to snap his fingers (he makes the snapping sound with his voice). Then I sing Nelson's song. He head bobs and has taken to raising one wing and turning around. When he really gets into it he raises one foot and then the other. So far, Nelson's winning three out of five contests.
