Thrill Ride (Country Style)
Speeds up to 8 mph, heart-stopping dips, wheelies, damaged turf, tree hazards...we had it all at the first annual Father's Day Tractor Practice.
It seems that tractors are best suited for flat, open fields. The tree-lined hills of the Chateau require a special relationship between the driver and the machine. After three hours of diligent practice we managed to cut the pond levee without rolling over and went on to conquer the tree obstacle course.
The best news is that even with the learning curve we managed to do 12 hours of hand cutting in three.
