The Creative Side Of Nest Boxes
We must be doing something right. We keep getting re-orders from people who have purchased our nest boxes. Since each box is designed to their specific requirements they are getting rather creative with their requests.
Denise in Oregon called today with a unique box design for Patagonian Conures. This box would be a 10" x 10" box, 42" long. It will be mounted horizontally across the cage. Sort of like a Grandfather box mounted on its side. The theory is to mimic a nest created by a burrowing bird.
We can't wait to see if she's successful. We may try this design on our Hawkheads.
