And Then There Were Two
Everybody who walks into our nursery these days walks out wanting one of the Congos. We just have them stand back while we open the cage door. The babies all hit the door at the same time, flying to perches, people and other cages. It's an amazing site.
One lady stood in front of the cage door as three Congos landed on her chest. She just wrapped her arms around them and said, "What a great mother's day present". She wasn't referring to getting a bird so much as getting loved by three babies at once. She and her family left deposits on two babies.
Only two left and they are still on two a day feedings.
