Interlude
Taking a small break from discussions of "passion pits" and other exotic names for our nest boxes. By the way, it's not too late to get into our contest. The winner will get a sticker with the selected name on it. You can paste it on any item of value in your home and pretend we gave it to you. Go back two or three posts and make your suggestions in the comment section.
Meanwhile, Josh wrote us giving an update on his Congo, Esperanza Elena del Rieno y la Cruz:
We love to hear from you guys.Hello!
I'm just giving you an update on Esperanza Elena. She's doing really well. She mumbles and whistles all the time, and even makes little kissing noises. She has really become attached to me. She loves to ride around on my shoulder and she hates it when I have to leave. Most of all, though, she loves having her head scratched.
I really appreciate the work you did to make her such a sweet, loving bird.
I tried attaching a 1 min. video of her, but it exceeds my email capacity.
I'll make a shorter one soon to send to you.
