Family Reunion
Max and Jake are home for a few days. You may recall that they are two Blue and Gold Macaws we sold to Tina two years ago. She was forced to sell them and we agreed to try and help. They are staying for a week or two before they go to Shraggie in New York City.
We rarely have the pleasure of having our babies spend the night after they have gone to their new homes. These guys are great. I think they remember us. Perfect health, weight and feather and hopelessly bonded to each other.
We were worried that they had gotten aggressive over the last two years but they are normal, pet quality Macaws that know how to step up on command and will rest their cheeks against yours for a great hug. They are, however, Macaws and you have to know how to take charge of the situation or they will try to bully you.
We hope Shraggie will take the time to go to some pet stores and practice "Macaw" before he takes delivery. He's in for a great and interesting time.
